The Montuïri Town Council has hired a historian for the Son Fornés Museum for 12 months, enhancing archaeological heritage management.

The Montuïri Town Council has participated in the SOIB Joves Qualificats 2025 programme with a position for a historian at the Son Fornés Archaeological Museum, with a 12-month contract.

The Montuïri Town Council has incorporated a historian into the Son Fornés Archaeological Museum thanks to its participation in the SOIB Joves Qualificats 2025 programme, an initiative aimed at promoting the employment of young people with higher qualifications.

The hired individual, trained in History, has been responsible for strengthening the management, conservation, and dissemination of the archaeological heritage of the municipality during the 12 months of the contract.

The contract was formalised in the form of a training contract for obtaining professional practice, full-time, a scheme that allows young people to gain work experience related to their studies.
