The Town Hall of Binissalem has kicked off the LX Festa des Vermar with the official presentation of the candidates for Vermadores and Vermadoras.

The Town Hall of Binissalem gathered all the aspiring Vermadores and Vermadoras last Friday, August 14 at the casal de Can Marc to approve their candidacies and officially start the journey towards the LX Festa des Vermar.

During the meeting, the candidates were able to get to know each other and receive the first indications on how the coming days will unfold, as well as the support that the council will provide throughout the campaign.

One of the central moments of the day was the recording of their presentation letter addressed to the residents of the municipality, a video that will premiere next Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 AM via this link.

With this event, Binissalem begins the countdown to one of its most anticipated festive occasions, which this year reaches its 60th edition. The Town Hall has already published the official poster of the Vermadors 2026, available on its website.

The election of the festive representatives is part of the tradition of the Festa des Vermar, which each year designates the individuals responsible for leading the events and giving voice to the municipality during the celebrations.
