The Reto Comarcas Alcudia project, with support from the Town Hall, has held a mobile photography and social media workshop in Almodóvar del Campo for all audiences.
The municipal market's assembly hall in Almodóvar del Campo recently hosted the workshop 'First Steps in Mobile Photography and Social Media', a training initiative from the Reto Comarcas Alcudia project that received backing from the local Town Hall. The event brought together residents of different ages interested in improving their digital skills.
During the two and a half hours, participants worked with their own mobile phones in a highly practical approach. They learned everything from the basic fundamentals of image capture to techniques for optimising photo quality, including concepts of editing and file storage.
One of the most innovative segments was the introduction to artificial intelligence tools applied to photo retouching and graphic content generation. Attendees discovered how AI can help communicate more effectively, both in personal and business projects.
The workshop also dedicated a significant portion to social media. Participants learned guidelines for appropriately sharing content on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, integrating images into their digital routines.
This activity is part of the action calendar promoted by the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce and the Provincial Council, which aims to strengthen the digitalisation of the local fabric in the Valle de Alcudia. The Reto Comarcas Alcudia project aims to reduce the digital divide in the region.
The organisers highlighted the positive reception of the workshop, which combined theory and practice so that attendees could apply their knowledge to real-life situations, whether for hobby or to boost their businesses. The methodology allowed each person to progress at their own pace.
