A total of ten bulls from the ranches of María Guiomar Cortés de Moura, Juan Pedro Domecq and Joaquín Núñez del Cuvillo are already in the pens of the bullring in Palma. They will be fought this Thursday at 21:00 hours.
The bullring in Palma already has the ten bulls that will be fought this Thursday, July 30, starting at nine in the evening. The animals belong to three different ranches and were unloaded early in the morning, according to the organising company Funtausa.
For the mounted bullfighting, the rejoneador Diego Ventura will face four specimens from the Portuguese ranch of María Guiomar Cortés de Moura. These are black-coated bulls weighing between 560 and 595 kilos. These animals replace those initially announced from the ranch of Hdros, owned by Ángel Sánchez and Sánchez, which ultimately did not arrive.
In foot bullfighting, the matador Morante de la Puebla and the French bullfighter Sebastián Castella will fight four bulls from the Juan Pedro Domecq ranch. These bulls, also black-coated, weigh between 475 and 505 kilos.
The fight is completed with two specimens from the Cádiz ranch of Joaquín Núñez del Cuvillo. Of these two, one is brown-coated and is the lightest of the entire pen, while the other is black. From this group, the four bulls to be fought will be selected along with two reserves. This same ranch is scheduled for Thursday, August 6, with the presence of the Peruvian bullfighter Roca Rey.
Funtausa has indicated that a large turnout is expected for this event, which will feature three figures of bullfighting. Tickets can be purchased at the bullring box office during regular hours, as well as online.
This Thursday's bullfight is one of the highlights of the bullfighting season in Palma, featuring a lineup that includes Diego Ventura, Morante de la Puebla, and Sebastián Castella. Fans will be able to enjoy a combination of mounted and foot bullfighting with bulls from three prestigious ranches.
