The municipality of Campos has announced the programme for the Festes de la Mare de Déu d'Agost 2026, which will take place from August 6 to 15. The schedule includes concerts, exhibitions, sports, and traditional events.
The Town Hall of Campos has published the official programme for the Festes de la Mare de Déu d'Agost 2026, which will unfold between August 6 and 15. The programme will kick off on Thursday, August 6, with the opening speech by Dr. Guillem Caldentey Adrover, followed by the planting of giants and the raising of the flag.
One of the highlights of the festivities will be the II Campos Play, a playback gala that this year commemorates the centenary of the arrival of the first radio receiver in the municipality, an event that connected the village with the world. This event will take place on Thursday, August 6, at 10:30 PM in the Plaça de s'Estació.
On Friday, August 7, the group Sopa de Cabra will perform in the parking lot of the Camp d'Esports starting at 10 PM, with limited tickets available from Rubio Produccions. The evening will also feature performances by Aero.Sol and DJ Txema Sánchez.
On Saturday, August 8, the day will start early with the traditional Pesca la Peça Major, which will begin at 7 AM from the plaça dels Tres Molins. The categories include roquer, grumeig, volantí, and underwater fishing, with weighing at 1 PM in the same location. Registrations can be made by calling 667689080.
On the same day, in the afternoon, the 33rd edition of the Torneig Vila de Campos de Bàsquet 3 contra 3 and the 28th Memorial Pere Vicens will be held, organised by the Club Bàsquet Campos. At 7 PM, the Camp d'Esports will host a commemorative event for its 50th anniversary, recalling the 1976 match between the veterans of CE Campos and CD Ses Salines.
On Sunday, August 9, the plaça Can Pere Ignasi will be the venue for Ses Mudes de Can Pulsora, a parade of traditional Mallorcan clothing organised by the Agrupació Campanera de Pinyol Vermell. At 9:30 PM, the Carreró des Convent will host the XIV Nit d'Estrelles i Poesia, featuring Peixos dins el rostoll.
On Monday, August 10, the plaça de sa Creu will be the stage for a Mostra de Ball Mallorquí by the Agrupació Brot de Taperera. On Tuesday, August 11, the municipal library will host a family comic workshop with Pato Conde, and in the afternoon, the book Los secretos para conquistar tus sueños by Aina Maria Mascaró Rigo will be presented. Additionally, the Auditòrium will feature the play Estranyes visites, una trilogía per morir de riure (o no), with Joan Manel Vadell and Mariona Hauf.
On Wednesday, August 12, the programme includes the XXVIII Fira de la Tàpera, which will be held at the Municipal Sports Centre and in the Plaça de s'Estació. The fair will feature exhibitions, tastings, and products related to the tàpera, one of the municipality's most emblematic products. In the afternoon, the XXVII Cursa Popular de Campos will take place, with the start and finish at the Plaça de s'Estació.
On Thursday, August 13, the Diada de la Mare de Déu d'Agost will include a solemn mass at the parish church, followed by a procession through the village streets. In the evening, the orchestra La Mundial will entertain the night in the Plaça de s'Estació.
On Friday, August 14, the Nit de l'Agost will feature a fireworks display at 11 PM in the Camp d'Esports. On Saturday, August 15, the final day will include the Diada Infantil with games and activities for the little ones, and in the evening, the concert by Txarango will bring the festivities to a close.
