The Swiss toured the space dedicated to the career of the Balearic tennis player, where he is also featured in the Big 3 room alongside Djokovic.

The museum of Rafa Nadal at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor has received a luxury visit. Roger Federer, historic rival and friend of the Balearic tennis player, toured the facilities last weekend and did not hesitate to praise the space. "It’s a wonder to see everything. It’s beautiful. There’s so much work behind it, but above all it’s very exciting," declared the Swiss after the tour.

The museum, inaugurated on May 14, showcases the life and career of the Spanish tennis player through immersive experiences, audiovisual content, and original objects. One of the most prominent rooms is dedicated to the 'Big 3', formed by Nadal himself, Federer, and Novak Djokovic, who dominated the circuit for nearly two decades.

The rivalry between Nadal and Federer is considered one of the greatest in sports history. They faced each other 40 times, with 24 victories for the Balearic and 16 for the Swiss. Their duel in the 2008 Wimbledon final, which was resolved with the last ray of sunshine over the centre court, is remembered by many as the best match in tennis history.

With Djokovic, the only one of the three still active at 39 years old, Nadal played 60 times, the most repeated duel in tennis history. The Serbian has 31 victories compared to 29 for the Spaniard.

Federer's visit to the Manacor museum reinforces the close relationship they maintain off the court. The Swiss, retired since 2022, has shown his admiration for Nadal's legacy on several occasions, as the Spaniard also approaches the end of his career.

The museum, located in the facilities of the Rafa Nadal Academy, has become a tourist attraction for tennis fans visiting Mallorca. The space allows visitors to relive the most emblematic moments of the Manacor player's career, from his first titles to his 22 Grand Slams.

For the residents of Manacor and the island, the presence of a figure like Federer is a boost to the international projection of the municipality. The academy, which hosts young talents from around the world, is already a benchmark in tennis training.

The museum remains open to the public from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. Tickets can be purchased on the official website of the Rafa Nadal Academy.
