Ismael Estévez, former Mallorca player, signs for Deportiva Minera

Ismael Estévez, ex-youth player of RCD Mallorca, joins Deportiva Minera as the sixteenth signing for the 2026/2027 season after excelling at Terrassa FC.

The centre-back, trained in the RCD Mallorca academy and with over 70 matches in Segunda Federación, is the sixteenth signing of the Murcian club for 2026/2027.

Central defender Ismael Estévez, raised in the youth ranks of RCD Mallorca, has become a new player for Deportiva Minera ahead of the 2026/2027 season. The 24-year-old arrives from Terrassa FC and becomes the sixteenth confirmed reinforcement for the team from Llano del Beal.

Estévez has accumulated over 70 matches in Segunda Federación, a category in which he has played for the last three seasons. His career includes a notable stint at CE Andratx, where he played two seasons before making the leap to the peninsula. Previously, he was trained in the RCD Mallorca academy and established himself in Tercera Federación with CD Platges de Calvià.

In his last spell at Terrassa FC, the centre-back played 35 matches and surpassed 3,000 minutes of play, demonstrating his consistency and the trust placed in him by the Catalan coaching staff. Now, the Balearic player returns to competition in Group III of Segunda Federación, a group he knows well from his experiences in Andratx and Terrassa.

Coach Sandroni thus strengthens the defence with a versatile, solid player with room for progression. The Deportiva Minera management is betting on youth and experience in the category to face the upcoming season with guarantees. Estévez joins a squad aiming to establish itself in the third tier of Spanish football.

Knowledge of Group III is one of the added values that the new centre-back brings. Over the last three campaigns, Estévez has faced clubs from the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands, which will allow him to adapt quickly to the rivals that Deportiva Minera will encounter.

With this signing, the Murcian club continues to shape a competitive squad, based on defensive solidity and commitment. The fans of Llano del Beal are optimistically looking forward to the new season, in which the team will seek to improve its performance and fight for ambitious goals.

Deportiva Minera continues to work in the market to close the last pieces of the puzzle before the start of pre-season. The incorporation of Ismael Estévez represents a firm step in building a solid and experienced block in the category.
