The Mallorca Council opens registrations for the Sports Retreats for the Elderly 2026, with stays in hotels on the island during October and November. Places are reserved directly, without a draw, until availability runs out.

The Mallorca Council has launched a new edition of the Sports Retreats for the Elderly, an initiative aimed at promoting active aging through sports and social interaction. Residents of Bunyola interested can now reserve their place since July 27.

The stays will take place during October and November in various hotels on the island, featuring a tailored activity programme that includes hiking, Nordic walking, dance classes, training sessions, and recreational workshops.

Among the available dates are October 8 and 9 at Iberostar Waves Cala Barca, 14 and 15 at HYB Eurocalas (Garden), 21 and 22 at Cala Millor Garden, 22 and 23 at Green Garden Selection, 27 and 28 at Playa Garden, and 28 and 29 at Alcúdia Garden. Additionally, from November 3 to 10, different shifts are offered at Blau Colònia de Sant Jordi.

Registration is done directly through the Mallorca Council's payment platform, without the need for any prior draw. Places will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out, so the Council recommends expediting the process.

For more information, interested parties can call 638 09 09 09 or email esportadults@conselldemallorca.net. All information and registration links are available on the official sports website of the Council.

This initiative, held annually, has established itself as an opportunity for elderly people on the island to combine tourism, exercise, and social relationships in a safe and adapted environment.
