The girlfriend of a young man attacked in Alcúdia chases down the thieves and catches them with photos

Two 17-year-old Moroccan minors attacked a young man in Puerto de Alcúdia to steal his mobile phone. His girlfriend followed them, took photos, and sent them to the Local Police, who arrested them minutes later.

The swift reaction of a young woman prevented two alleged thieves from getting away scot-free after a violent robbery in Puerto de Alcúdia. The events occurred in the early hours when her partner was assaulted by two Moroccan minors who snatched a high-end mobile phone while they were walking near the port.

According to sources close to the investigation, the couple was walking in the area when they were approached by the two suspects. Without saying a word, the youths struck the boy and took the device. The victim was left dazed by the blows, but his girlfriend kept her composure.

Chase and key photos

Instead of fleeing, the young woman began to follow the two thieves and demanded that they return the phone. She even offered to pay for it if necessary. When they refused, the young woman took out her own mobile and took several photographs, which she immediately sent to the Local Police of Alcúdia.

The images allowed the agents of the Night Unit to activate a search operation with a very precise description of the suspects. Within minutes, they located the two suspects near a well-known nightclub in Puerto de Alcúdia.

Both minors, aged 17, were already known to the police for previous incidents in the area. After being intercepted, they were taken to police facilities and fully identified.

The police prepared the report and sent a file to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. As they are minors with known identities and addresses, they were released with charges while awaiting the judicial process to progress. The investigation remains open to determine if they are involved in other similar robberies in the area during the peak tourist nights.
