The Town Hall of Binissalem received a grant from the Consell de Mallorca to finance the summer activities of 2025, which included two camps for children aged 8 to 14.

The municipality of Binissalem has concluded its summer activities programme for 2025, an edition that has received financial backing from the Department of Economic Promotion and Local Development of the Consell de Mallorca. The grant, which the Town Hall applied for, has allowed for the financing of both ordinary activities and two summer camps aimed at children and young people aged between 8 and 14.

According to municipal sources, the balance of the initiative is "very positive", both in terms of participation recorded and the social, educational, and personal benefits generated by the activities. The programme has been designed with the aim of providing a quality resource for family reconciliation, as well as a safe, participatory, and enriching space for the youngest.

The responsible department has emphasised the importance of continuing to promote such resources, which contribute to the well-being of children and youth and support families in the municipality. The grant from the Consell de Mallorca has been key to expanding the offer and reaching a larger number of participants.

The Town Hall of Binissalem has expressed gratitude to both the Consell de Mallorca for its support and to the families and all participants who made a summer full of activities, learning, and good moments possible. The two summer camps, aimed at children aged 8 to 14, have been one of the standout proposals of the programme.

The initiative is part of the grant call from the island department for the organisation of summer activities aimed at the care, supervision, and entertainment of minors and youth. Family reconciliation has been one of the central axes of the programme, which has offered families a quality resource during the summer months.

The Town Hall is already working on the programming for next summer, intending to maintain and improve this offer of activities, as long as the institutional support from the Consell de Mallorca continues.
