The gastronomic route will take place on July 22 and 29 with seven participating establishments, a free tourist train, and children's activities for the whole family.
For the first time, the Fang Tapa in Marratxí will connect the areas of Sant Marçal and Es Figueral with a free tourist train. The initiative, organised by the Town Hall, aims to boost local dining and facilitate travel between the seven participating establishments.
The train, with a capacity for 50 passengers, will run every 20 to 25 minutes and will operate on both days of the route: July 22 and 29, from 19:30 to 23:30. Additionally, signage at the participating venues will be enhanced to give visibility to the event.
An offer for the whole family
The Fang Tapa not only focuses on gastronomy but also on family leisure. In Sant Marçal, two inflatable castles and a play area will be set up, creating a space where the little ones can play while adults enjoy the tapas.
The participating establishments are: in Sant Marçal, Engrescats, Cafeteria Sant Marçal, Variat, and Local Núm. 2; in Es Figueral, Smash Burger, Es Racó d'en Dax, and The Red Fort. Each will offer a tapa and drink at a popular price, although the source does not specify the exact amount.

The Councillor for Commerce, Odette Torres, emphasised that the connection between the two areas is an improvement aimed at increasing participation: "We are connecting Sant Marçal and Es Figueral for the first time to bring new customers to the establishments and consolidate an attractive and family-friendly gastronomic offer."
The Town Hall expects the initiative to attract visitors from other parts of Marratxí and neighbouring municipalities, consolidating tapas as a gastronomic attraction unique to these urban areas. Residents will be able to enjoy a variety of tapas without the need to drive thanks to the free train.
