The Santa Eugènia Town Council has obtained a grant of €23,922.08 to fund children's and youth leisure activities during the Easter, summer, and Christmas holidays.

The Santa Eugènia Town Council has been awarded a grant of €23,922.08 aimed at organising leisure education activities for children and youth. The aid, part of the Corresponsables Plan, seeks to facilitate the reconciliation of family and work life during the school holidays of Easter and summer 2026 and Christmas 2026-2027.

The resolution, signed by the Minister of Families, Social Welfare, and Dependency Care on 22 June 2026, was published in the Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) on 4 August. With this funding, the council will launch the project “Summer School 2026 Santa Eugènia”.

The initiative will provide families in the municipality with an educational leisure alternative for their children during non-school periods, a measure that is particularly relevant in a small municipality like Santa Eugènia, where reconciliation resources are limited.

The Town Council has expressed gratitude for the grant and has indicated that details of the programme will be finalised in the coming weeks, which will complement the usual activities in the school calendar. Interested families will be able to consult the terms and registration deadlines as soon as they are published on the municipal electronic headquarters.
