The yellow alert for high temperatures in the Balearics will not affect Manacor, where Saturday will start with clouds and turn into a clear day. Highs will reach 37 degrees, with a feels-like temperature of 42.

Manacor will experience a weekend of intense heat but without weather warnings. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow alert for maximum temperatures in the province of the Balearic Islands for this Saturday, but the municipality of Llevant will be excluded from the warning. This is confirmed by the official data, which predicts a day of mostly clear skies during the early morning and morning, and completely clear from midday onwards.

Sunny Saturday with high feels-like temperature

The thermometers in Manacor will register a maximum of 37 degrees, similar to Friday, while the minimums will remain at 23 degrees. However, the feels-like temperature will be even higher: the heat index will reach 42 degrees, according to AEMET. The wind will blow lightly from the southeast, with no significant gusts expected.

For residents planning outdoor activities, the recommendation is to avoid the central hours of the day and stay hydrated. The relative humidity could increase the perception of mugginess, especially in urban areas.

Sunday with high clouds and rising maximums

On Sunday, the outlook will change slightly: high clouds will cover the sky of Manacor for much of the day, although with no risk of precipitation. Maximum temperatures will rise by one degree, reaching 38 degrees, while minimums will drop to 22 degrees. The wind will remain light, this time from the east.

The combination of high clouds and heat could create a heavy atmosphere, but without triggering any warnings. AEMET reminds that the yellow alert is declared when certain thresholds are exceeded, and in Manacor, these will not be reached.

Monday, the hottest day of the week

Looking ahead to Monday, the trend continues: no chance of rain and skies will go from clear in the morning to more cloudy by midday. Maximums will approach 39 degrees, the highest figure in the coming days, while minimums will remain at 22 degrees. The wind, light from the southeast, will not alleviate the heat.

The data from AEMET, which is compiled using its own models and supplementary sources, is provisional and may be updated. For those who need to travel or work outdoors, it is advisable to check the updated forecast before heading out.

“Weather information should be considered provisional pending further updates,” the agency states.

In summary, Manacor will experience a weekend of intense heat but without meteorological shocks. Temperatures will remain high, but within the usual range for this time of year, and the yellow alert will not affect the municipality. A relief for those who feared a warning, even though the thermometer shows no mercy.
