The Calvià City Council and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Balearic Islands (AJE Baleares) have formalised a collaboration agreement aimed at energising the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the municipality. This agreement includes a contribution of 4,000 euros from the council.
The agreement was signed by the mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio Amengual Guasp, and the president of AJE Baleares, Yoann Blanc Alonso. Both parties believe that institutional collaboration will generate significant opportunities and strengthen the productive fabric in Calvià.
Key areas of action in the agreement
The collaboration through the Calvià Institute of Training and Employment (IFOC) will focus on several key areas:
- Design and development of business interrelation dynamics to facilitate contact between entrepreneurs and companies, expanding their professional and collaborative networks.
- Support in the promotion and co-organisation of outreach activities related to business management and growth.
- Definition and execution of joint actions to promote business development in the locality.
The City Council commits to allocate a nominative grant of 4,000 euros to AJE Baleares for the coordination and promotion of these activities, in addition to providing the spaces and technical resources of the IFOC.
Duration and monitoring of the agreement
The agreement has an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extending it for a maximum of four years. To ensure its proper development, a Joint Monitoring, Surveillance and Control Commission will be created, which will include representatives from AJE Baleares and the IFOC. This commission will be responsible for defining, specifying and approving the work plan and the action calendar during the period of the agreement.
