The Town Hall of Inca, through the SOIB, has opened the call for three alternating training projects for 2026, aimed at people aged 16 to 29 and those over 30. The offers include training in fitness, carpentry, and sewing.

The Employment Service of the Balearic Islands (SOIB) has published three projects for alternating training contracts in Inca, a modality that allows participants to work and train simultaneously. The offers are directed at both those under 30 registered in the National Youth Guarantee System and those over that age, with the expectation that the programmes will start in December 2026.

The alternating training contracts combine paid working hours with theoretical training hours, so that participants gain professional experience while obtaining a qualification related to the position. According to SOIB sources, the initiative aims to facilitate the employment of unemployed individuals in the municipality of Inca.

For those under 30, two projects are offered. The first, called 'Inca Fit', focuses on auxiliary sports activities and is aimed at young people aged 16 to 29. It will last nine months with flexible morning or afternoon hours. It includes training in fitness initiation, aquatic techniques monitoring, aquatic activities for babies, job insertion, and social skills.

The second project for young people is 'Inca Fusta', specialised in carpentry and furniture work, aimed at individuals aged 18 to 29. It also lasts nine months, in morning hours, and includes training in basic carpentry design, finishes, basic procedures, and installation of wooden floors.

For those over 30, the SOIB has launched the 'Inca Enfila' project, focused on sewing. It lasts nine months in morning hours and includes training in pattern making, alterations, and costumes for shows, as well as modules for job insertion.

Interested individuals must register as job seekers at the time of hiring. In the case of those under 30, it is also necessary to be registered as a beneficiary of the National Youth Guarantee System. Applications are made through the links provided on the SOIB page for each project.

The offers will remain open until a date yet to be specified, but the programmes are expected to start in December 2026. The Inca Town Hall encourages residents to take advantage of this opportunity to train and gain paid work experience.

This initiative is part of the active employment policies of the Balearic Government, aimed at reducing youth unemployment and facilitating the retraining of individuals over 30 in sectors with demand for qualified workers.
