The Illes Balears Palma Futsal has officially announced the signing of Júlio Zanotto, a 29-year-old winger who arrives from Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan. The player, an international with Armenia, is facing his first experience in the Spanish First Division with the aim of helping the team compete for all available titles.
Zanotto has already trained with his new teammates at the Son Moix facilities and has assured that he feels at home from day one. "I have received very good references about the club, the coaching staff, and the city. Everything I have been told has been positive, and that influenced my decision," the footballer stated during his presentation.
The player has emphasized the importance of reuniting with old acquaintances in the dressing room. Zanotto has shared a locker room with Dennis and Alisson Neves at Kairat Almaty, with Charuto and Lucão in the Brazilian national team, and with Luan Muller in the Armenian national team. "They spoke very highly of the club and the coach, Antonio Vadillo. I knew that I could continue to grow as a player here," he explained.
The new signing of Palma Futsal arrives with a clearly ambitious mindset. "I want to compete for all titles. The team has a very competitive squad, and I am sure we can fight for the league, the cup, and the Champions League," Zanotto affirmed, wanting to send a message to the fans: "I will give my all in every match. Zanotto, who has developed much of his career in Brazil and Kazakhstan, believes that the Spanish league is one of the most demanding in the world. "I have followed the Spanish league from afar and have always wanted to play here. It is a very tactical and physical competition, and I think my playing style fits well," he indicated.
The player also highlighted the importance of the Champions League, a competition in which Palma Futsal has achieved success in recent seasons. "The club has already shown that it can compete at the highest level in Europe. I want to contribute my bit so that we can win international titles again," he added.
