The Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard has arrested a 25-year-old break dance teacher in Mallorca accused of continuously sexually assaulting at least five students aged between 8 and 13 years. The duty court in Inca ordered his provisional imprisonment last Thursday.
The arrested individual, of Spanish nationality and Ecuadorian origin, taught classes at a dance academy in the Part Forana area of Mallorca. According to sources from the investigation, the victims were students at this centre, where the teacher exploited his position to subject them to degrading practices.
Investigators have confirmed that the accused forced the minors to ingest bodily fluids, specifically a mixture of his own semen, urine, and isotonic drink, under the pretense that it would enhance their physical and sporting performance. These potions were presented as a supplement to improve their dancing skills.
The investigation began following an alert issued by an international child protection organisation. This organisation detected a package of videos and photographs containing explicit content of assaults on a minor that was actively being distributed on instant messaging applications and in a Dark Web forum specialising in child pornography.
UCO agents focused their inquiries on a key detail: the print on a t-shirt that appeared in the recordings. The garment led to an advertising poster for a Balearic association linked to break dance. From there, the analysis of public profiles on Instagram and TikTok allowed the identification of adults in the vicinity with distinctive tattoos on their arms, matching those found in the investigated files.
Social media posts also helped to geolocate the various locations where the abuses allegedly took place. One of the identified victims is the daughter of a colleague of the arrested individual, highlighting the trust that the accused had generated in his environment.
During the home search carried out on July 27, the Civil Guard seized numerous computer materials, mobile phones, tablets, and mass storage units containing thousands of files of paedophilic content. Additionally, manipulated files using artificial intelligence were found, prompting investigators to expand the analysis to forensic laboratories.
The forensic laboratories and data analysis teams are already studying the videos in detail, the composition of the brews, and the data extraction from the devices. Sources from the investigation confirm that these analyses will complete the judicial file along with the content of the computer files.
The arrested individual already had a previous record for sexual assault registered in May 2023, according to sources from the investigation. This fact reinforces the seriousness of the case and the need for a thorough investigation to determine the extent of the events.
The accused faces charges of corruption of minors, sexual assault, production, possession, and distribution of child pornography, as well as degrading treatment. The judge of the Inca Duty Court ordered his immediate imprisonment, and the judicial and police investigation places the origin of the reported events as early as last March.
Currently, family and friends of the arrested deny the evidence and justify the boy's absence by saying he has urgently left for Ecuador, according to this newspaper. However, the evidence collected by the Civil Guard points to clear authorship.
The case has caused profound shock within the educational community of the Part Forana and among the families of the victims. Authorities have reminded the importance of reporting any suspicion of abuse and have made the usual channels available to citizens for this purpose.
The investigation remains open and it is not ruled out that new victims may emerge. The analyses of the seized devices and the substances found will be key to clarifying all the facts and determining the full responsibility of the arrested individual.
