The summer season brings new connections from Palma airport to European destinations at very competitive prices. Olbia, Split and Faro are some of the most affordable routes.
Palma de Mallorca airport has added several direct routes to European destinations this summer with fares starting at 19 euros. The offer, reported by the well-known travel profile VuelosdesdePalma, includes connections to cities such as Olbia, Split, Bari or Stockholm, mainly operated by low-cost airlines.
Olbia, the cheapest with flights from 19 euros
The cheapest one-way ticket to Olbia, on the Italian island of Sardinia, is available on September 18 for just 19 euros. However, as the travel expert warns, "it is possibly the last flight and you may not have a direct way back to Palma." For a round trip, the most affordable combination is from July 7 to 17, starting at 81 euros.
The connection to Bari, also in Italy, offers competitive fares: the cheapest one-way flight departs on July 10 for 51 euros, while the best round-trip option is between July 10 and 20, costing 123 euros.
Split and Stockholm, options for those seeking sea or north
Split, on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, is another of the destinations launched this summer. The cheapest one-way ticket corresponds to September 13 and costs 29 euros. For a complete trip, the lowest fare is found from July 14 to 28, for 91 euros, although there is also an alternative from July 14 to 19 starting at 105 euros.
For lovers of Northern Europe, Stockholm offers a one-way flight on July 7 for 100 euros. Those wanting to go and return, the cheapest available option is between July 7 and 18, priced at 198 euros.
Faro and Luxembourg, other summer novelties
Faro, in the Portuguese Algarve, maintains particularly low prices during September. The cheapest one-way flights are available almost every day of that month from around 25 euros. As for round-trip options, the best fare is from July 12 to 19, starting at 92 euros. Also notable are the dates from September 3 to 10, for 102 euros, and from August 23 to 27, starting at 118 euros.
Finally, Luxembourg joins the offer with a one-way flight from 91 euros on July 23. For those wishing to book a complete trip, the most economical option is between September 10 and 13, priced at 186 euros.
From the VuelosdesdePalma profile, it is recommended to book in advance and keep an eye on last-minute offers, as prices can change rapidly. For residents of the Balearic Islands, the 75% discount on inter-island flights and those to the Peninsula does not apply to these international destinations, but the resident discount for flights originating in Mallorca to the Peninsula should be considered if combined with a stopover.
The summer of 2026 thus presents an opportunity to discover new corners of Europe without having to dig too deep into your pockets. All it takes is a little patience and a keen eye to catch the best deal.
