The traditional night walk in Pollença runs along the coast to Cala Sant Vicenç. The event, on August 15, starts at 20:00.
Pollença is resuming one of its most cherished summer events this Saturday, August 15: the XXIII Anada a la Vorera de Mar, a night walk that connects the town centre with the bay of Cala Sant Vicenç. The departure is scheduled for 20:00 from the church square.
The route, approximately five kilometres long, follows traditional paths and trails and ends at the beach area, where participants usually take a night swim. The organisers recommend wearing comfortable footwear, bringing water and a flashlight, as the return journey is made at night.
The activity is open to all and does not require prior registration. According to the Pollença Town Hall, the walk is an opportunity to enjoy the coastal scenery in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.
The Department of Festivities reminds that participation is free and that usual safety measures will be maintained for this type of outdoor event.
“It is a tradition that brings together locals and visitors to our coastline in a different way, at sunset,” municipal sources state.
Arrival is estimated around 21:15, just in time to see the sunset over the Mediterranean. Those who wish can stay at the beach or return on their own.
