Air Nostrum will operate a direct route between Valladolid and Palma de Mallorca with four weekly flights until the end of August, strengthening tourist connectivity with the Balearic Islands.
The airport of Palma de Mallorca adds a new link with the Peninsula: Air Nostrum has launched a direct route with Valladolid that will operate from July 17 until the end of August. The company offers four weekly flights to connect both cities during the peak tourist season.
Strengthening Balearic connectivity
Air Nostrum's decision responds to the increase in summer demand. The airline has designed a special programme with over twenty routes, among which the link with Palma stands out as one of the most requested destinations. The connection with Valladolid adds to other mainland routes already operating from the archipelago.
The company emphasises that the Balearic Islands are once again the focus of its summer schedule. The airport in Palma thus reinforces its role as a tourist hub, facilitating the arrival of visitors from Castilla and León and other regions.
More flights for residents and tourists
Residents in Mallorca and tourists wishing to travel to Valladolid will benefit from this new offer. The route allows for direct travel, avoiding layovers and reducing travel times. Air Nostrum has also increased capacity on other connections with the Balearics, such as those linking to Menorca and Ibiza.
The special programme also includes routes between León and the Canary Islands, but the focus for Mallorcan travellers is on the new frequency with Valladolid, which previously did not have a regular direct flight at this time.
Mobility during peak season
The airline aims to facilitate mobility during the weeks of highest tourist demand. The Valladolid-Palma route will operate with a regional aircraft and will be available for immediate bookings. Tickets can be purchased on the Air Nostrum website and through travel agencies.
For Mallorcans wishing to explore the interior of Castilla and León, this connection offers a direct gateway to the city of Pisuerga, known for its Holy Week and gastronomy. The offer will be valid until the end of August, coinciding with the peak of the tourist season.
