The team led by Matías Guidolin begins the competition on October 17 in Mallorca. Their home debut will be a week later against Unicaja Costa de Almería.
The Servigroup Benidorm already knows the path it must take in its second consecutive season in the Superliga Masculina de voleibol. The Benidorm team will kick off the competition on Saturday, October 17 away, visiting Conectabalear CV Manacor at the pavilion in the Mallorcan municipality. A week later, on October 24, the fans at Palau d'Esports l'Alguer will enjoy the first home game against Unicaja Costa de Almería.
A demanding season start
The schedule offers no respite for the team coached by Matías Guidolin. After the debut in Manacor and the home opener against the Almerians, the team will travel to Soria to face Grupo Herce in the third round. November looks particularly busy, with matches against Intasa San Sadurniño and Club Voleibol Suac Canarias in Benidorm, as well as a visit to Cisneros La Laguna.
Guidolin has pointed out that the team faces a season of maximum demand due to the growth of Spanish volleyball.
“We know we will face a tougher league than the previous one. Spanish volleyball continues to grow at its highest level, and I believe it will be a very balanced competition, where matches will be decided by the best level of each team and by small details, especially by the margin of error,” the coach stated.
Physical, technical, and mental preparation
The Argentine coach has insisted that the group must be prepared in all aspects to compete with guarantees.
“We need to prepare very well and build a very solid group in the physical, technical, and mental aspects. The real performance of the teams will be known when the competition starts and we are on the court,” Guidolin explained.
The coach has focused on the early matches and a November that could mark the initial development of the competition.
“We have to start and finish away from home. The beginning will be tough, visiting Manacor and then facing two heavyweight teams like Almería and Soria. November will be crucial, with three matches against direct rivals like San Sadurniño, Suac Canarias, and Cisneros. The focus will be on that start, and from there, we will plan the season in stages,” he detailed.
Full schedule until the Christmas break
The first round will conclude on December 19 in Benidorm against Club Voleibol Guaguas. After the Christmas break, the competition will return on January 9 with the visit of Conectabalear CV Manacor. The regular phase will conclude on March 20, 2027 with Servigroup Benidorm visiting Club Voleibol Guaguas.
For the fans in Benidorm, the start represents an opportunity to see their team face some of the historical clubs in the competition. The match against Unicaja Almería, one of the most decorated clubs, promises to be a spectacle at the Palau d'Esports l'Alguer. Additionally, the visit to Manacor will allow travelling supporters to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere at the Mallorcan team's court.
