The Plaça des Pins hosted an emotional tribute to the elderly of Es Llombards yesterday, with music from Simal Duo and a festive atmosphere.
The Plaça des Pins in Es Llombards, in the municipality of Santanyí, was the stage for the tribute to the town's elderly yesterday afternoon, one of the most anticipated events of the 2026 Sant Domingo Festivities. The evening brought together residents in a spirit of brotherhood to recognise the journey and legacy of the older people in the locality.
During the gathering, attendees were able to share refreshments while enjoying the musical performance of the Simal Duo, who entertained the afternoon with their repertoire. The organisation and the Santanyí council have expressed their gratitude to all the residents for their participation, as well as to the group and the efforts of the organising team for making such a significant event for the community possible.
