The Palma club strengthens its interior game with the young American standing 2.06 meters tall, who arrives after averaging 15.8 points and 8 rebounds in the NCAA.

The Fibwi Palma announced on Thursday the signing of American pivot Shilo Jackson, 22 years old, from the Le Moyne Dolphins of the NCAA. The player, trained at Texas A&M University, signs for one season with an option for another and becomes the fifth addition to Álex Formento's team for the upcoming campaign in Primera FEB.

Reliable reinforcement for the paint of Son Moix

Jackson, at 2.06 meters, arrives to cover the absence of Jon Ander Aramburu in the interior game. In his last university season, he played 27 games averaging 30.1 minutes per game, during which he averaged 15.8 points, 8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. These numbers position him as one of the standout talents in college basketball.

The sports director of Fibwi Palma, Martí Vives, highlighted the versatility and physique of the new pivot: "He is a player with great potential, who will bring us intensity and scoring ability in the paint. We are very pleased that he has chosen our project to make the leap to professional basketball."

A player in constant progression

Shilo Jackson began his university career at Texas A&M, where in his debut he averaged 4 points and 3.3 rebounds in six minutes per game. In the 2024/2025 season, he increased his involvement to 10.1 minutes, with an average of 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds. His evolution led him to sign with the Le Moyne Dolphins, where he truly exploded.

For the Fibwi Palma fan, Jackson's arrival represents a leap in quality in the interior game. The team, competing in Primera FEB, aims to establish itself in the category with a young and talented squad. Jackson joins the already confirmed Hugo Ferreira, Sergi Huguet, Jaume Lobo, Adrià Moncanut, Garmine Kande, Dorde Simeunovic, and Osi Cerdá, in addition to the renewed Xabi Beraza, Aless Scariolo, and Lysander Bracey.

First experience in Spanish basketball

The new pivot of Fibwi Palma faces his first season in Spanish basketball. His adaptation will be key to the team's performance, which will begin pre-season in mid-August. The club is confident that his impact will be immediate and that he will become a reference in the paint of Son Moix.

The residents of Palma will be able to see Shilo Jackson in action starting in September, when the regular league kicks off. Fibwi Palma will play its home games at the Palau Municipal d'Esports de Son Moix, a venue that the new pivot hopes to fill with energy and spectacle.

With this signing, Fibwi Palma is practically finalising its squad for the upcoming season, although further last-minute additions are not ruled out. The goal is clear: to fight for the top spots in the standings and offer attractive basketball to its fans.
