Illes Balears Palma Futsal and Noia Portus Apostoli have agreed to extend the loan of Brazilian winger Thierry for another season, until 2027. The player will remain in Galicia to continue his development at the elite level.

The Brazilian winger Thierry will continue wearing the Noia Portus Apostoli jersey for another season. Illes Balears Palma Futsal has reached an agreement with the Galician team to extend the player's loan, who has been with Noia since his arrival in the winter market of 2025.

The decision is part of the Mallorca club's strategy to loan out its young talents so they can gain quality minutes in the First Division. Thierry, 22, has shown significant growth in Galicia, and both the sports management and coaching staff believe that it is best to continue his developmental process.

A bet on the future

Thierry arrived in Palma in September 2024 from the Brazilian Jaraguá, in a move the club described as a future investment. Since then, his loan to Noia has allowed him to adapt to the pace of the Spanish league and gain experience in a competitive environment.

Now, with this extension, the player will complete his third consecutive season with the Galician team. The goal is for him to return to the Island ready to take on a leading role in the first team, where competition on the wings is high.

Thierry's contract with Palma Futsal includes two more years of affiliation, plus another two optional years, which gives the club room to plan for his return. In the meantime, the Brazilian will continue to accumulate matches in a demanding category like the First Division.

Palma Futsal's loan policy

This move is part of the usual policy of Illes Balears Palma Futsal to loan out its young talents to gain experience in other elite clubs. The club has repeated this formula in recent years with several players from its academy, as a way for them to gain experience without losing control over their development.

For Palma fans, this news means that Thierry will not be available for the team this season, but in return, it ensures that the player maintains a competitive rhythm that will ultimately benefit the Balearic team. The management is confident that, when he returns, he will be ready to make the definitive leap.

Noia, for its part, strengthens its squad with a player who already knows the system and has demonstrated quality. The loan is concluded without a purchase option, ensuring that Thierry will remain a Palma Futsal player.

Next season, the Brazilian winger will once again wear the Galician jersey with the hope of continuing to grow. Meanwhile, in Palma, they will closely monitor his progress with the hope that, sooner rather than later, he will be a pillar of the team.
