The organisation Cinegética Monteros del Valle de Alcudia has reached an agreement with a Turkish company to offer hunting packages for large wild boars, with fixed prices and accommodation included. Interested parties can form groups of 3 to 5 hunters.

Big game hunting enthusiasts in Mallorca have a new opportunity to face record-sized trophies. The organisation Cinegética Monteros del Valle de Alcudia has secured an agreement with a Turkish company that will allow island hunters to hunt wild boars weighing between 180 and 280 kilos in the best hunting grounds of the Eurasian country, according to a statement from the entity.

The basic package, called '6 wild boars all-inclusive', offers five days and four nights of hotel accommodation with full board —excluding alcohol and tobacco—, transfers from the airport to the hunting grounds, and the processing of all necessary documentation to hunt in Turkey and for the return transport of firearms to Spain. The package price is fixed until September 30, and the included wild boars must have a minimum tusk size of 19 centimetres; those that do not meet this size do not count towards the quota and are free of charge.

Conditions and Additional Costs for Island Hunters

The organisation has detailed that, in addition to the base package, there are a series of mandatory costs. Transport of the firearm costs 90 euros per trip, ammunition another 70 euros per trip, and the extraction and cleaning of the tusks for transport amounts to 50 euros for each wild boar. A minimum tip of 250 euros total per vehicle is also required for guides and forest rangers throughout the week.

Hunters wishing to take additional specimens beyond the quota can do so for 950 euros per extra wild boar, with no limit on final length. In the event of a missed shot, the wounded wild boar counts towards the quota, although the organisation assures that 99% are found if the animal is well injured. The cost for a missed wild boar is 180 euros.

Non-hunting companions can join the trip for 900 euros per person, all-inclusive from the airport, although only one companion is allowed per hunter. The flight ticket is the responsibility of each participant, and the organisation recommends travelling with Turkish Airlines, the only airline that allows firearms to be brought into Turkey. A representative from Cinegética Monteros del Valle de Alcudia will travel with the group to coordinate logistics.

An Opportunity for Mallorcan Hunters

For hunters in Mallorca, this offer represents a chance to access top-level Turkish hunting grounds without the need to organise the entire trip on their own. The island has a long hunting tradition, and many enthusiasts are seeking new experiences abroad. Fixed prices until September allow for advance planning, and the organisation insists that the sooner dates are confirmed, the cheaper the flight tickets will be.

Contact for more information is Javier, at phone number 633 17 31 50. The organisation encourages forming groups of friends of between 3 and 5 hunters to share the experience and reduce costs. The travel date is flexible, at the convenience of the participants, as long as it is booked in advance to secure the cheapest flights.
