Manacor will not be affected by the yellow alert activated in the province for this Saturday. The AEMET forecasts clear skies and a maximum of 36 degrees.
Manacor is free from the yellow alert for maximum temperatures that the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has activated for other areas of the Balearics this Saturday. The day will proceed with clear skies and a maximum temperature of 36 degrees, according to the official forecast.
The minimum will be around 20 degrees, but the maximum feels-like temperature will reach 38 degrees due to humidity. Light breezes from the east will blow, which will hardly relieve the heat.
Sunday: high clouds that do not cool
For Sunday, AEMET announces high clouds in the morning, which will give way to clearer skies from midday. Temperatures will drop slightly: a maximum of 34 degrees and a minimum of 21.
The wind will continue blowing from the east, with similar intensity to Saturday. Residents planning outdoor activities will find the heat somewhat more bearable, although without respite.
Monday: another rise to 37 degrees
On Monday, the trend will be completely clear skies throughout the day. The maximum temperature will rise to 37 degrees, while the minimum will remain at 21. The wind, weak, will shift to the southeast.
Compared to Saturday, Monday will be even hotter, so the Manacor Town Hall recommends constant hydration and avoiding the central hours of the day.
The contrast with other municipalities
In Palma, Saturday will also have clear skies, with minimums of 19 degrees and maximums of 36. In Castelldefels (Barcelona), however, the maximum will be 31 degrees, with few clouds that will clear by midday.
For the residents of Manacor, the forecast means a typically summery weekend: sun, heat, and little breeze. The municipal pool and nearby beaches, such as Porto Cristo, will be the most sought-after refuges.
AEMET reminds that these data are provisional and recommends checking official updates for possible changes. For now, Manacor avoids the alert, but the thermometer shows no mercy.
